HEALING ARTS FESTIVAL 2010 Update
We regret to announce that the 6th Annual San Diego Healing Arts Festival is being postponed until the Fall. The Balboa Park Committee has denied our permit request for this year stating that our event has grown too large for the Park. We want to thank all the attendees and supporters over the years who have helped make this event TOO successful! Rest assured, we will return and are searching for a suitable venue. Look for further announcements over the next few months.
As one door closes another one opens and our friends at the Adams Avenue Business Association have invited us to create a scaled-down version of our event to coincide and blend with their annual Roots Fest on Adams. We are happy to announce that over the weekend of April 24th – 25th, we will be producing the 1st Ever Healing Arts Fest on Adams at the Adams Elementary Park and Mansfield in Normal Heights.

The Adams Avenue Roots Festival has been a San Diego tradition for 37 years and hosts over 40,000 attendees as they close off several blocks of Normal Heights to host exhibitors, multiple stages and beer gardens. Their musical focus on the roots and traditions of modern music, mix well with our focus on the roots and traditions of modern health. For this year’s event, their planning committee has expanded the diversity of musical genres to include reggae, latin, Worldbeat and jazz, as well as their standard fare of blues, bluegrass, folk, and Americana. This blends perfectly with the musical selections of Healing Arts Festivals past!
Package opportunities exist to sponsor both the April Healing Arts Fest on Adams as well as our 6th Annual San Diego Healing Arts Festival in the Fall.
